What the Robot Can Actually Do
AMD embedded AI processing powers the platform, delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. That processing supports AI-driven inspection, thermal and visual analytics, and 3D LiDAR mapping. The robot also operates reliably in GPS-denied environments, a common problem for indoor industrial sites and facilities where satellite signals cannot reach.

The company has partnered with organizations including Siemens and Nanyang Technological University on earlier autonomous inspection projects, giving this new collaboration with Avnet a foundation of deployed, field-tested systems rather than a first attempt at the technology.
